What's in Settings
The Settings hub has three sub-pages:
- Time zone — set the zone all your dates and times render in.
- Calendar feed — subscribe to your schedule from iPhone, Google Calendar, or Outlook. Also: empty-day default toggle.
- Workspace (firm admins only) — rename your firm workspace.
Time zone
Auto-detected from your browser on first visit and persisted to your account. Change it any time from Settings → Time zone or the sidebar dropdown.
When you change time zones, all existing entries shift to display in the new zone. The underlying stored times don't change — only how they're rendered.
Calendar feed (.ics)
Every account can publish their schedule as a calendar feed. On Settings → Calendar feed:
- Click Generate URL.
- Copy the webcal:// URL.
- Paste it into your calendar app's "Subscribe to calendar" option:
- iPhone: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar.
- Google Calendar: Other calendars → + → From URL.
- Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web.
Your external calendar refreshes the feed periodically (depending on the app — typically every 1-24 hours). Add new entries in OBC Calendar; they appear in your external calendar within hours.
The URL contains an unguessable token, so anyone who has it can read your schedule. Treat it like a password. Regenerate the token any time to invalidate the old URL.
Empty-day default toggle
Decides how empty days appear in your published feed:
- Available by default — no entry on a given day means free. Good for couriers who prefer to publish only their busy windows.
- Blocked by default — no entry on a given day means unavailable. Good for couriers who only want firms to see explicitly green hours.
The toggle affects both your in-app Schedules / Dashboard rendering and the .ics feed your subscribers see.
Workspace rename (firm admins)
If you registered with an auto-generated workspace name, you can rename it under Settings → Workspace. The new name shows up in client-facing emails (e.g., invoice send), invitation emails, and the sidebar header.
Troubleshooting calendar feed
If new entries don't appear in iPhone Calendar:
- Pull-to-refresh on the Calendar app forces a re-fetch.
- iOS's auto-refresh interval can be hours — patience required.
- Confirm the webcal:// URL was pasted, not https:// — Safari treats https:// as a one-time download instead of a subscription.
- If you regenerated the token, remove the old subscription and re-add with the new URL.
