For OBCs

Connections (OBC view)

Accept firm invites, manage your connected firms, and disconnect.

What Connections shows

The Connections page (OBC view) lists every firm you're connected to. Each row shows the firm's name and a status:

  • Active — you're connected and the firm can see your availability + dispatch jobs to you.
  • Pending acceptance — the firm invited you; click Accept (in the invite email or in the row's Accept button) to activate.

Accepting an invite

You can accept a firm invite in three places:

  1. The invite email — click Accept.
  2. The Connections page — pending invites show an Accept button.
  3. At signup — if you sign up with the same email the firm invited, the connection auto-links once your account is verified.

After accepting, the firm can see your green Available windows and push job assignments to you.

Per-firm nicknames

Each firm can label you with their own internal nickname (e.g., one courier might be "John" at Firm A and "JD" at Firm B). You see those nicknames as their public identity to that firm — useful for distinguishing which workspace you're seeing when one OBC works under multiple business identities.

You can also set your own nickname for each firm, used only in your view to identify them.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the row. This is reversible — the firm can re-invite you later. While disconnected:

  • The firm can no longer see your availability or dispatch new jobs.
  • Historical jobs you already completed stay visible to both sides.
  • Pending job invitations from that firm are dropped.

The firm can also disconnect from their side; you'll see the row disappear from your list with no further action needed.

When to disconnect vs. block

OBC Calendar has no formal "block" — disconnecting is reversible by either side. If you want to stop seeing invites from a specific firm forever, disconnect and ignore future invites.
