Three calendar views
The view switcher at the top of the page toggles between Day, Week, and Month. Whichever view you're in is preserved as you add or edit entries.
- Day — single-day timeline with sub-hour resolution.
- Week — Monday-through-Sunday columns. Good for planning the week ahead.
- Month — overview of every day. Double-click a day to add an all-day entry, or click anywhere in the cell to drill into the Day view for that date.
Four entry kinds
Every entry on your calendar is one of four kinds:
- Available (green) — you're free during this window. Firms can see your green windows when deciding whom to dispatch.
- Tentative (yellow) — you might be available; treat with caution.
- Unavailable (red) — explicitly blocked. Firms can't book you here.
- Job (blue) — a confirmed assignment. Jobs are usually created by the firm and pushed to your calendar, but you can add your own for personal tracking.
Adding an entry
Three ways:
- Double-click an empty cell. The form opens pre-filled with the time you clicked.
- Drag-select a range in Day or Week view.
- The "+ New" button in the toolbar.
In the form, pick the Kind (Available, Tentative, Unavailable, or Job), adjust the start/end time, optionally add notes, and save.
Moving and resizing
- Drag the middle of an entry to move it (Day and Week views).
- Drag the bottom edge to resize. The snap is 30 minutes.
Empty-day default toggle
If a day has no entries on it, the default behavior depends on your account setting at Settings → Calendar feed:
- Available by default — empty days appear as free.
- Blocked by default — empty days appear as unavailable.
The setting is per-account, not per-day.
Time zone
The calendar shows times in your current time zone, which is auto-detected from your browser on first visit. Change it in Settings → Time zone or in the sidebar dropdown. All your existing entries shift to display in the new zone.
Subscribing externally
You can subscribe to your schedule from iPhone Calendar, Google
Calendar, or Outlook. Go to Settings → Calendar feed, copy the
webcal:// URL, and paste it into your external calendar's
"Subscribe to calendar" option. See the Settings topic for details.
