The Couriers tab
Lists every courier connected to your firm. Each row links to that courier's profile, schedule, and edit form.
Inviting a courier
- Go to Couriers → New.
- Enter the courier's name + email.
- Click Send invite.
An email goes out via OBC Calendar to that address with a one-click Accept link. When they click it:
- If they have an OBC Calendar account already, the connection appears in their Connections tab as Pending Acceptance.
- If they don't, they're routed to /signup; once they sign up with the same email, the connection is auto-linked.
Pending connections
Until the courier clicks Accept (or signs up), the connection sits in Couriers → Pending connections. From there you can:
- Resend the invite if the original email got buried.
- Cancel the invite if you no longer need it.
Once accepted, the courier moves to the main Couriers list.
Editing a courier
Click any name in the Couriers list. The edit form lets you:
- Rename the courier (this is the name shown across your firm — they see their own name separately).
- Update the email (re-invites if not yet accepted).
- Add a per-courier nickname (the OBC sees this when interacting with your firm — useful when one courier works under multiple business names).
The 50-OBC limit
The Firm Standard tier (and the Firm Free trial) caps at 50 connected OBCs. Adding the 51st is blocked at the server — the "Send invite" form returns a clear error. If you're hitting the cap, talk to us about expanding it.
Disconnecting
Both sides can disconnect at any time. The firm initiates from the courier's profile page; the OBC initiates from their Connections tab. Disconnecting hides the relationship but keeps historical jobs visible for record-keeping.
